The RESPONSE DATE listed on the citation is the due date to resolve your citation. If you wish to Plead NOT GUILTY you will need to submit a written request (Municipal Court Forms) to schedule a pretrial hearing before the Judge/Prosecutor.

Please note we share the Lakeview Police department with El Lago. If your citation is marked for El Lago Court call 281-326-4413.

Cases that are filed in Municipal Court include (but are not limited to)  traffic violations, Class C misdemeanors, parking violations, and violations of City ordinance.

Please do not appear the same day you receive the citation: Allow 3 business days from the violation date before contacting the Court.

Schedule

Court is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month for Initial Appearance arraignments, pre-trials and Judge Trials.

Court starts at 6:00 pm. Please dress appropriately.

Visit the MUNICIPAL COURT ONLINE PAYMENTS to pay citaitons online or to request defensive driving, deferred disposition, a 30 day extension or to get more information on the citation.

Defendants wanting to reschedule an appearance, pay fines by cash, check or money order, or make some other special request must contact the Court Clerk in person at City Hall during normal business hours. 

*The court may provide an alternative to the full payment of any fine or costs assessed against you, if you are convicted of an offense and unable (Indigent) to pay the full amount.
